It is so frustrating, there are appointments available as early as next week but it wont let you book them unless you have booked a second test.
Very frustrating!
I expect they may add more to the system for this month and early June soon?

Same issue here.
The booking system is quite distressing.

It doesnt make sense though that on May 18th for example you could book the whole day with a pharmacy and yet 4 weeks later zero appointments, even a couple of days after
Shouldnt they be allowing people get their first shot and then come back and book appointment for their 2nd shot at a later date if thats the case

But then its not actually free - it's not an option as a first appointment.
It's poorly implemented.

It's poorly implemented. | | | | | Considering how many tens of thousands of people used that site today within a very short period I would say that, quirks aside, it handled it pretty well. Everyone I know managed to get a slot.

Ideally they should have one appointment which covers 1st and 2nd shot
Hopefully more will come on stream shortly

Vaccine administration on a cantonal level rather than at a federal level does seem to be one of the most idiotic things to come out of this pandemic.

That's great everyone you know has gotten one, and I am sure I will too at some stage. Today hundreds of thousands using a service or app isn't such a big deal and is easily achieved (on cloud providers for example). The implementation logic to remove appointment 1 if appointment 2 is not available is something different and not related to how many people log on in a short time. It would be really simple to implement correctly.

It may vary from one Apothek chain to another, however some allow booking the first dose only, and will soon add dates for second doses in 4+ weeks

I rebooked mine a few times. It does look like they are deleted though, but relogging displayed them again.

Just an update: there are, apparently, some vacant appointments in local pharmacies. We got one for May 12th, the offer just came out of the blue after we bombarded all local drugstores with something like "Liebe Apothekerinnen und Apotheker. Wir wollen uns unbedingt impfen lassen, haben Sie zufällig noch einen Termin frei? Bitte sehr."
The second shot date, allegedly, will be given on the spot when the first shot is done.

Vaccine administration on a cantonal level rather than at a federal level does seem to be one of the most idiotic things to come out of this pandemic. | | | | | Also Zürich according to the Tage. 52% uptake.
But nowhere because it wasn’t offered. They’ve been got at by anti-vax idiots.

I'm confident with a good outreach campaign that we can get up into the 80%s
