| Typically, every year and I normally get it done in India as it is way cheaper as you mentioned. Haven't travelled and don't plan to in the near future due to Covid; hence, was looking for something here.
Mine does not cover overseas treatment except emergencies; however, it is just around CHF 150-200 in India for a full medical exam. | |

Last year I had made my appointment early in the year for early Oct, and then COVID hit. I booked my flight so I could properly quarantine myself for the required 2 weeks before my appointment date. Japan was/is in much better state in terms of the pandemic and I had left CH before the situation had worsened here, so at the time, it worked. Now quarantine in Japan has become even stricter so not sure about this year but I won’t do it here for sure. I’d just skip a year.
