Hi all,
my gf is on a tourist visa here. Is it possible for her to get the Covid vaccine in Switzerland?
If yes, how much are the expected costs and the relevant procedure.
We managed to book an appointment for her using "foreign countries" as the category for health insurance, but not sure if it would work.

If she is a tourist and has no swiss health insurance or a swiss permit ( for example type b, c,l), then there will be no chance to get vaccinated here.

Most Swiss residents are struggling to get appointments right now ... she can go back to her home country for hers.

How did you get an appointment. According to BAG Can tourists be vaccinated in Switzerland?
As long as there are not sufficient doses of vaccine available for the entire Swiss population, the COVID-19 vaccination is reserved for people with their place of residence in Switzerland. You might be lucky, but she might also be turned away.

I got asked for a copy of my B-permit + Swiss health insurance card at the vaccine center...
Unlikely she will get a vaccine for now. I believe Romania and Serbia are doing vaccine + tourism packages at the moment

I know non-residents who have received it. Usually accompanied by a cock and bull story that they're looking after an elderly relative or something. Zurich don't seem to place any requirements on people who can register but things might change when you arrive at the appointment.

Exceptions may be the rule, but from what I have heard everyone was asked for the Swiss health insurance card.

Just back from my first dose.
FWIW, at Lachen hospital (SZ) in addition to your Krankenkasse card, they also ask for your Ausweis.
