Pharmacies Offering Rapid Antigen Letter

So finally got some tickets to Europapark (wooo), but we need a rapid antigen test "not older than 24 hours", and must be signed.

Hence, the txt message I normally get isn't enough.

Does anyone know of a pharmacy that does the quick test, AND can print/email a letter?

I've heard of amavita doing it for 10chf, but not sure...

The pharmacy at Zürich Morgental seems to offer this:

Quote:
Kostenlos bei Vorzeigen Ihrer Krankenkassenkarte: COVID-19 Antigen Schnelltest Standard - inkl. Abstrich. Resultat nach 15 Minuten vorort schriftlich. Genügt als internationaler Beleg.

Re: Pharmacies Offering Rapid Antigen Letter

Almost all pharmacies I saw do it (mainly because travellers to Italy want it), some ask money and others don't.
Also be careful about how the doc will be released, I once got a "you'll receive it by email within 48h" which is not great.

Klus-Apotheke in Zurich releases the doc immediately and does it for free

Re: Pharmacies Offering Rapid Antigen Letter

Toppharm (various locations) does the test and gives you the written statement immediately. Apodro (more local to ZH Oberland, several locations) gives you the result on the spot and will email a statement within a few hours.

Anybody know of one in Bern? Heading to Italy in early July, hopefully they will let fully vaccinated people easier then.

Use this - I've used various centres from the same search function in Zurich all of which have provided suitable travel certificate.

The amavita pharmacies do.
They stopped doing antigen tests a few weeks ago, or at least the one I used multiple times did locally. Once they couldn't directly charge for the test and had to reclaim it from the gov each time they stopped and our local one now only does PCR tests.

When is the last time you got a test there?

I’ve never had one but my son had one at the Amavita in Neuchâtel yesterday so clearly it’s not a general thing.

For Susie Q here’s a list of places in Bern

Re: Pharmacies Offering Rapid Antigen Letter

FYI - If you think you (general you, not anyone specific) will need or want a test soon, be sure to schedule an appointment as soon as you know.

I called yesterday for an appointment today thinking it would be no big deal. It's never been an issue before. The pharmacy where I usually go was fully booked. Another only had 3 time slots. When I got my test, the technician said they are crazy busy right now with testing for travelers.

Does anyone know any available in Basel? Do Pharmacies in Basel also undertake the same process?

I can confirm this... want to drive through France to Belgium on Friday and am struggling to find an antigen test in Luzern any time this week. I think I can still transit via Germany without a test (unless they switch to the same rules as France on Wednesday), but it's longer.

What about kids? Adults are vaccinated - the kids however (5 and 7) are falling under the screening of Italy, in need of rapid antigen.

Every pharmacy I called refuses to do it, the pediatre is saying "PCR only" which is bonkers.

I have had the same experience. Booked a PCR through the pediatrician, who claims it always comes back in 24hours. Crossing my fingers it's not the one test that doesn't

Re: Pharmacies Offering Rapid Antigen Letter

Can those free rapid antigen (that are given 5x per month) tests be used for traveling?

Or if not, does anyone know how much on average the pharmacy-run antigen tests costs and if they provide results in English as well?

The antigen tests you do yourself can't be used for traveling as there is no official entity to certify the actual result of the test.

Antigen tests in pharmacies are free with a swiss insurance card. Some pharmacies charge a few bucks for the document (e.g. 10 chf) - others release it for free.
