Re: Is rapid antigen test free in Zurich / Basel / Geneva airport with Swiss insuranc

When I got my test to go to the US end of May - I needed a rapid test, and the testing center made it 'free' even though they new it was for travel. So they must marked it as a free test and gave me the certificate.

So.. technically if for travel you have to pay, but your milage may very depending on the testing center.

Do people still need travel certificate to travel in EU or is it now replaced by the covid certificate (with QR code)?
The QR code "is", or "represents", a standardized Covid certificate.
My partner today got a QR code via email after doing an antigen test, and she successfully crossed the border with it.

AFAIK it does not matter if you are vaccinated or not.
Actually, some countries don't recognize the validity of vaccinations performed less than 14 days ago, so you must do a test even if you got the second shot 13 days ago...

I wanted to understand if the Antigen test at the pharmacy is still free. Because the self tests are not. Vaccinated over 14 days ago so no issue.

Rapid antigen tests ARE FREE no matter the reason. But they can charge you for a certificate (!)

Check the website of the airport as it changes all the time.
