If the rule bending was referring to me then that certainly wasn’t the case. The message was a little confusing though!
Probably talk about resident permits confused things.
The simplest method to get vaccinated in Switzerland is to be legally here and to have Swiss health insurance.

The simplest method to get vaccinated in the UK is to be legally there (e.g. a UK citizen on a visit) and to have an NI number.

Of course, these are not the only methods.

I doubt you would get a definitive answer from a doctor about a second round of vaccination since I have not seen any decent studies on this topic.

On the positive side for an answer to your question Israel is offering a booster shot after 6 months.

Also, plenty of vaccinated people have had subsequent Corona infections (usually mild) which is similar to the second round of vaccination.

Re: Anybody been vaccinated in the U.K. with an AZ vaccine

I guess for the OP it's locking the door after the horse as bolted, but for those of us who are not yet vaccinated but are still planning to, it is worth first considering which country may be the most advantageous from the point of view of recognition / certification (I guess for most people that would be the country where they plan to spend most time or partake in most activities)

(assuming of course that they can easily get vaccinated in different countries - and in my observation at least its getting easier and easier almost everywhere as there are more vaccines that demand almost everywhere, so I guess many / most of us do have a choice, which we should use wisely).

Exactly - I have a UK NHS App certificate and no issue whatsoever travelling to Switzerland using that.

I also got it scanned last night in Zurich for access to a club and they scanned the NHS QR code from the app and let me in just fine so I'm not sure who you feel aren't accepting the UK certificate as did my mate also on iPhone. Our other mate though had an Android phone and the NHS app wouldn't scan for the club, so I'm not sure quite why there was a difference as we all had the NHS app.
I tried the NHS app in Bern tonight and was turned away from a street food event as the NHS app isn’t recognised here
