| Hi!
We just moved to Geneva and so far I am a bit clueless how I can entertain my two year old girl here during the autumn/winter!
Which are the best places? Are there any indoor playgrounds around? Is there a swimmingpool where I can take her (meaning that the water should be nice and warm and not a sportive swimming temperature)? Any playgroups you could recommend? What else?
Are there any mums out there who would like to meet for a coffee/chat with our little ones?
Thanks for your help.

Hello
welcome to Geneva! Yes its certainly easier entertaining little ones in the summer months here as there are some lovely paddling pools etc. However there are various things to do. As for indoor play areas, there is yatouland (
www.yatouland.ch) which can be handy for a rainy afternoon (only open on school holidays though!) as well as gymboree in Grand saconnex, which has a whole lot of baby classes etc, plus if you are a member you can use the "play gyms" ie play on the equipment.
There are also lots of different playgroups etc. I really recommend that you get a copy of the know it all parents guide to geneva & vaud (its on amazon I think), its a really useful book with masses of information for parents in this area, covering all topics from different playgroups to schools, health etc- well worth getting!
and feel free to post here if you have any other questions!
