Microdembrasion ? Any good experience ?

I am looking for a facial that offers microdembrasion as part of it. Have you had any good experience?

Not too far from Zurich.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Microdembrasion ? Any good experience ?

Go to a qualified dermatologist for it.
If it's done by beauty therapists, they won't do it 'harsh' enough to have good, long lasting effect. If they do and there are side effects, they are not medically trained to handle them.
A doctor knows how to handle the right amount of abrasion and possible problems that might arise. She/He might combine it with laser or light treatment for better efficacy. Good luck.

Re: Microdembrasion ? Any good experience ?

Not too long ago, almost every known brand offered a set of microabrasion. I haven't seen it around anymore. Probably did too much harm or damage. So I would agree with argus, get it done professionally.

Consult a dermatologist, who would advise you whether micro-derma-abrasion or glycol peels or another procedure is best suited for you.

Re: Microdembrasion ? Any good experience ?

I was suppose to have it done but I found out I was pregnant and the doctor didn't want to do it.

You should wait in fall, this is what the doctor will tell you anyway.

But seek a doctor's advice and work.... I heard a lot of bad stories with esthetic beauty professional, etc...

Re: Microdembrasion ? Any good experience ?

Just so happens I am a qualified nurse and midwife too. I have never in 5 years working with our company, had problems. When it comes to Doctors, too many people think they are Gods and do not question them. Like everyone else, they are just people who have studied a course and qualified. I do respect Drs, don't get me wrong, they are wonderful but can get it wrong too. We are all human. Sometimes we just have to question them a bit more.
