I had got few medicines(Nexium) 6 months back and have not yet opened them.(Got few extra stuff as prescribed). I then did not need them and went back to apotheke to give them back in a week, but they did not take back due to some reasons. Its lying with me for last 6 months. Its packed and not opened at all and expiry is till mid 2010. I just wanted to know if i can resell the medicines. If its not allowed, please ignore this message and lemme knw, i shall delete this thread.

No I do not think you can re-sell it. But the pharmacy takes back almost everything. Don't know what happened in your last try. Find another one that accepts.

Malika, I think the point is the pharmacy won't take them back and refund the price. No pharmacy will do this because they can't resell them due to contamination risk.

oh - ok. yes, that's true. the pharmacy will not pay a price for an opened packet. but i think that's logical. but maybe someone is ready to buy it... good luck, anyway.

i mean a already bought product....

Erm, reselling prescription meds without a liscence is a criminal offence...

Thanks for the replies. It was not claimed through Insurance. I had got it over the counter by paying money...since i did not have the card that time. Anyway Since its not a good idea to resell it, i m deleting this thread.

Wondering where that is....

Just walk down Langstrasse and you can't miss the retailers.

Instead of deleting this thread, I have edited the original post to
remove any type of offer.

I think this is a good question that should stay visible in case anybody
