Re: Zurich Maternity - Hirlsanden or Im Park

This is great news! I've applied for half private cover with Sanitas and (truthfully) filled in the form to say that I wasn't pregnant. However, it's taken so long to process in the meantime, that now I find I am pregnant - a complete surprise - I'm assuming they put something in the Swiss water. So I'm interested to know how Sanitas will take the news, but feel better now I know that if they choose to take it badly, then I'll still be relatively ok...

[Zurich] maternity clinics & hospitals

Hello everyone, I am new here and well, I have got a question and I need some help with this please... I am also planning a vacation to Switzerland soon with my to-be and we are looking for a clinic where I will be able to continue with my maternity treatment. Well, we will be staying in Zurich and we would like to have list of clinics and hospitals in Zurich so that we can have more information. I have done a Google search and I got a pharmacy directory for Switzerland on http://www.drugdelivery.ca/directory-switzerland.aspx so I think that for buying medication there won't be any problem....Anyone can help me with this list??By the way, I am sorry if ever I am posting in the wrong site...

Advice on birth centre/hosp in Zurich

Hi All,
Has anyone had any experience of giving birth in Zurich hospitals/clinics and would be willing to share any advice/tips/stories of their experiences (good or bad) and any recommendations you might have for a first timer?

Anything specific I should know about the Swiss hospitals/clinics and their way of doing things that you might think is important to know in hindsight???

I've been here for a few days and the baby is due in April, currently planning on going to the private part of Klinik Im Park. I'm also looking for a good gyne in Wadenswill that speaks english.

Thanks very much
