Private Schools in/around Lausanne

I need help with information about private schools in the Lasuanne area (not necessary in the city, any of the towns around Lausanne are ok).

We are looking for private schools for our 8,10 yrs old, we can afford anything less CHF 10K/per child.

I have been searching the net for weeks now and many sites including this forum saying that fees vary from CHF 5,000-20,000, but so far I couldnt find anything lower than CHF 15,000.

Can I get your help please. If you know of any affordable private schools within our range, I guess many of the schools may not have websites, thats why we can't find them on the net.

Don't think you will find anything for less than 10,000chf to be honest but I could be wrong! Maybe the second child would get a reduced price if you pay full price for the first child. www.avdep.ch has a list of private schools in Vaud

any reason you would not consider the public schools? How long are you planning to stay in the area?

Depends on the age of your child/children, but I doubt you'll find anything that cheap, sorry to say. International schooling is expensive here.

https://www.isl.ch/page.cfm?p=4635&LockSSL=true

Enrollment fee is CHF3,500 on its own. Fees range from CHF25,000 up.

http://www.brillantmont.ch/uploads/bm_FeesDay_en.pdf

Non-refundable CHF1,600 just to open the application. It's for 11 to 18 year olds only. Fees from CHF29,000.

If your child/children are young and you're going to be here for longer than a couple of years it might be better to look at putting them in a local Swiss public school. They'll get help with learning French and between the ages of 4-8/9 they pick up the language very quickly.

Hello, we looked at all the private schools around Lausanne/Vevey/Montreux and could not find any at that price. Our children are in Ecole Blancpain in La Tour-de-Peliz (small private bi-lingual school that follows the Swiss system). If you find a cheaper school - let me know

Slightly off topic but how do you find Blancpain?

Hello, our kids love the school and we are very happy with it. It is truly bilingual (English/French) and as it is not an international school, there are more local families. As this is off topic, if you would like any other info, maybe best to PM me.
