Re: Wisdom tooth removal cost

I was quoted around 600 chf for the removal of 2 of mine on the same side (I've had 3 removed over here), but it ended up costing around 1000 chf due to complications with the removal of one of them. If you didn't have any complications, then I should think it will be around the 600 mark. This was done just outside of Zurich by the way. The other one I had removed which was on the other side was quoted at around 500 chf, but cost around 750 chf, again due to complications with the removal.

Re: Wisdom tooth removal cost

I live in Schaffhausen and a German colleague recommended Dr. Menke, in Radolfzell since it's only 30min by train from here (www.dzaap.de). I treated a carie there with one of his assistants and asked for a budget for removing my 4 wisdom teeth. 2 easy ones and 2 only half out and laying down - not so easy but also not the worst case. The procedure would be done in 2 sessions, costing around 600euros each.
As I prefer to take them all at once, it had to be done by a Kiefer-Mund specialist. The dentist's secretary recommended Dr.Hochban's clinic.
I had an appointment with Dr. Bock and I really liked her. She speaks English and is very friendly (opposite from her staff). To remove my 4 wisdom teeth at once is cheaper and the costs are not higher than 1.000euros.
I have many allergies to medicines, so an anesthetist will be accompanying the procedure. That was the reason why it costs around 1 thousand, otherwise it would have been even cheaper.
