Mother and baby groups - "park" side of the lake

Hi everyone

Are there any mother and baby groups the park side of the like (ie from Enge down the lake)... I'm calling it park side as I saw signs down the motorway calling it that rather than the "dark" side as I've heard it called before...

Hi Sharon, there are quite a few. I haven't been to any yet, as we've only been here a few weeks, but they do sound good. The place to find out about them is the yahoo group: expat-moms-in-switzerland. It's a wonderful group and I know that the moderator is also a member here so she might reply to you anyway. You have to apply to join but once a member there is a lot of very useful information, and a list of exactly what you want was recently posted.

Just had a thought, Sharon. This post might be better off in the family matters forum, as more people with the right information are likely to see it there.

Re: Mother and baby groups - "park" side of the lake

Under normal circumstances I would not have taken action on Carmen's request to have her posts removed from this Thread. However, they were all packed with information which is no longer valid. The persons responsible for the various groups have changed. Altering all the names was not a viable alternative and leaving the information meant that the people concerned were still getting messages about the groups years after they had passed on responsibility or the group had been disbanded. Been there, done that, the T-shirt didn't fit.

I hope that someone with small children who lives on the Thalwil side of the lake can help out with information about groups around there.
