Subsidized Child Care

Hi
Just in case anyone needs it, I happened to stumble across the brochure on how to get subsidized child care in English: http://www.kihz.ethz.ch/docs/elternbeitragsreglement_EN

Re: Subsidized Child Care

I've taken the liberty of adding this helpful link to the Sticky Thread on Childcare and Schooling.

Unfortunately, it seems only to be applicable to residents of the City of Zürich.

Re: Subsidized Child Care

Does anyone have experience with childcare subsidies in Basel land or Basel Stadt? Specifically, do they exist in Basel land, and if so, is there a big difference between the two systems?

Re: Subsidized Child Care

You've been here for a while, so I hope you can wade your way through some of the German here.

Baselland
I think quite a few Krippen have some subsidised places and some non-subsidised.
Some towns/villages in Baselland do give subsidies, some don't.

Basel Stadt - look for the bit where it says
Gewähren von individuellen Elternbeitragsreduktionen in Tagesheimen und Tagesfamilien

This isn't much but I hope it helps.
