| | English speaking ENT in Zurich/Baden Area
Hello
Can anyone recommend to me an ENT somewhere in Zurich or Baden? I have some swollen lymph nodes in my neck that I want to get checked out.
Thanks

Thanks | | | | | The ENT I know, who is excellent, and speaks perfect English, will you only see patients with a referral from a GP which actually makes very good sense in your situation as swollen lymph nodes, if that is what you have, may have nothing to do with an ENT.

This thread is quite old, and I have looked here and here using the search function... Just curious if anyone has a more up-to-date recommendation for an excellent ENT in the Zurich area? Although they are specialists for ear, nose and throat (duh), I am looking for one who is especially successful in diagnosing sinus/nose-related issues.
Appreciate your responses in advance. |

Appreciate your responses in advance. | | | | | Went to one "highly recommended" bloke in Zurich when I was suffering from difficulties breathing through my nose, sore throats, tiredness etc... The quack told me I should gargle with glycerine at night... Needless to say that was fairly useless.
Finally went to a local guy in Baden who diagnosed a deviated septum and put me in a sleep clinic for a night. Turned out I had sleep apnea also. Had it all treated and I feel like a different person.
Moral of the story: not everyone in Zurich is better than people out in the boonies!

And for any divers out there, she's also a medical examiner for divers' medical certificates. |

Excellent ENT in Zurich is Dr. Daniel Simmen at the Hirslanden Clinic. Speaks very good English, studied in US, is a professor and author of several articles. Fixed me right up.

Guys, bumping up this thread for any recent recommendations on ENT in Zurich region.
Need not necessarily speak english.
My ears are in such a bad shape with possibly an infection that they will speak for themselves.
Thanks much

If it's an emergency, go to Permanence in the Zürich main station. Link
Take care and probably best to get this sorted ASAP before the holidays really kick in (meaning, go to Permanence walk-in clinic rather than a doc appt which you might not get until the hols are over).

my 2 year old son is complaining about his ears since quite some time now. Last time we went to our OP, she said his ears are OK.
Now my son says some more words and speaks about flies in the ears, therefore I a beginning to fear something bad.
I think we will try to visit an ENT then. Any up-to-date recommandation for somebody in Baden or Zurich place for such a young child?
Thank you!

Flies in the ears: sounds to me like a tinnitus, often a side effect of an infection in the ear or the Eustachian tube.
Hope your son is well soon!

Thank you! | | | | | I highly recommend taking your son to HNO Baden. Dr. Cirus Schahab speaks excellent English. I often see children in his waiting room.
The address is Theaterplatz 5 in Baden.

I know this thread is super old, but just in case someone comes along looking for a good ENT I would like to highly recommend Dr. Roman Laske in ZH (near Bahnhof Wiedikon): https://hno-wiedikon.ch/en/dr-roman-...riculum-vitae/
Dr. Laske speaks great English, listened to me, answered all my questions, was thorough and explained things to me. His credentials are excellent and on his website his list of research publications is as long as my arm!

For general reference, you can search the national directory of doctors by location, specialty, language, etc: https://www.doctorfmh.ch |
