Hi,

We are a family moving to Switzerland this summer.
We are considering moving to the area of Zug or the area of Thalwil.

We are having a daughter age of 2 and are planning for more children.

Could anyone of you who have experience from living with small children share some experiences from family life in Zug or Thalwil.
At least once of us will work in Zug.

With family life I mean:

- How easy it is to find parents beeing home with small children?
- "Informal" playgroups for children?
- Good environment for small execursions 1-2 hours from home?
- Potential number of expats?
- Other important things?

I belive what I am asking about is your opinion to have a good familylife in either Zug or Thalwil.

I've worked in Thalwil but never lived there, it's a nice town. Don't know much else about it. Zug & it's surroundings are really nice. It's also quite a "rich" town with a lot of stay at home ex-pat wifes & kids. There are a lot of facilities for kids including Gymboree & other play groups. Both towns are a good base for short excursions.
