Rueckbildung - post pregnancy fitness

Hi,
I couldn't find any old posts on this. I had to have a c-section a few months ago, and my midwife recommended that I take a Rückbildung class to help strengthen my core muscles.

Can anyone recommend a class in Zürich (I'm on the West side)? Preferably in English, but High German also works.

Check your local hospital, birthing house,a nd Activ Fitness has Antara, which is great for the core muscles.

I had my first baby (a boy) four weeks ago and am keen to know if anyone has tried any of the post-pregnancy fitness classes (Rückbildungsgymnastik) in Zug/Baar/Cham.

My midwife gave me details for the classes run by Karen Wyss-Haas in the Loreto complex in Zug. Has anyone been to this? My German knowledge is fairly good (although I know I would struggle a bit with Swiss German and technical terms).

I also have the list of three classes run in Cham, which is given out by the Andreas Klinik. Has anyone tried any of these?

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It would need to be a class I could bring my baby to, or else a nighttime class...

Same here ☹️ Are the classes worth the trouble if you don’t have any outstanding problems after birth?

Try and do sit-ups or a plank, you will realize your core muscles are not the same ☺️ I recommend pilates by Claudia at Birthlight Zurich. She does bilingual classes if necessary.
