Wear it as a badge. Not as a handicap, there is no shame in it. Just imagine, you can say whatever, whenever, there is no use of calling out a preggo mama on trolling...I am kiddin' now, don't bite my head off.

I wouldn't sweat it. There are worse situations during pregnancy, and I have been through too many of them. So, just ride the wave.

The thing is Nil you created this thread and called it 'The Pregnant Monster' and have alluded to the fact your hormones have been playing up so what do you expect? people are just entering into a bit of light hearted banter seeing as you are very open about your pregnancy and all that you are feeling through this pregnancy

1-The hormones and assuming them full speed.
2- People who puts everything on the preggos hormones.

When I said being called a terrorist, it wasn't because of my hormones (which would be true in this case) but it was to refered to the cultural and racial generalisation people do here. In this case, how often I have been mixed in the terrorists bowl because of being muslim.

Preggos being terrorist= good chance (for me)
Muslim= terrorist (not cool)

I think when people tease you about being preggo, though, they do it gently, it just comes out harsh. A lot of people wish they could be hormonal and preggo.

No it doesn't, it lasts approx 9 calendar months on average. Counting 40 weeks from first day of last period, as is the typical method for estimating due date, does not mean pregnancy lasts 10 months.

What she meant is the pregnancy last 9 months. But the last month look like it last 1 year.

I think the exact calculation of any mama's due date is: date of last period + 7 days - 3 months

But that doesn't mean they've asked junior about his agenda....

Considering that anywhere from 39 to 42 weeks is considered "normal" that can make "almost" 10 months.

It's a very well kept secret, they don't tell ya until you're already caught

I have a trusty preggo app on my iPhone. It tells me that at 28 weeks i am 7 months so then at 32 weeks I am 8 months, at 36 weeks I am 9 months and so I must be 10 months at 40 weeks

mathnut did explain this to me that obviously a month isn't exactly 4 weeks etc but I still don't get how they can just say 9 months when it is more like 9 and a half/10

Because you are pregnant even when you are not..... yet!

Period, 2-3 weeks, ovulation, conception, munchkin

I know i.e the first month you don't even know and 2 weeks of the 40 weeks you are not pregnant BUT you are still classed as pregnant for 9 months and not 10 months

Baby is full term around 37 weeks which makes it more like 9 months
