I must be very weird, I didn't. So many women told me that you forget all about the labor! WRONG! I remember every single moment of the whole freaking 42 hours! 2 years later....

I think women forget what they want to forget.... Try to forget an anniversary... I can assure you, she'll remember for years if not for ever!
That is one of the best things after a divorce, I always knew her birthday was something February, it got fuzzy over the exact day.
But now I just can't care

I think I sort of smoothed down the memories from my previous pregancy... I sure don't remember all those farts and burps

And though I had a tremendously horrible birth experience, it all seems a bit unreal to me now...

I think it's a survival technique from our brains, otherwise no mentally sane woman would like to go through all that again

Re: The Pregnant monster

You're just unlucky...

Or terribly brave to go through that again with all your memories intact!

Re: The Pregnant monster

The watermelon story remind me this thread, so I took it out of its dust and had a good laugh...

Update:

I am big, I am huge. I have pain everywhere, pain in my crotch, legs, back, sciatic. I have heartburn, constipation, diarrhea and piles. I am swealing, I fart and burp like a trucker and walk like a pinguin.

And they say pregnant women glow...

I am almost 34 weeks pregnant and I am miserable. I have the baby kicking me in my ribs, my pelvis, my hips and everywhere you can't imagine him being able to reach.

I am in constant pain, I am exausted and I feel like a 18 wheels truck passed on me back and forth many times, just to be sure that I was knock down. I can't sleep at night and not much during the day either because that huge belly is so heavy that you can't find a confortable position between the only two available; right or left side. Since both get numb quite fast, you spend your night to turn... I am hot! I am sweating like a pig (pigs sweat, right?) We sleep with the window and fan open while hubby has extra blankets because he freeze his ass.

I am loosing my temper over a freaking cucumber that I am too clumsy to keep in my hand. It is obviously the cucumber's fault...

For the new expectant mothers? Good luck.

For the futur dad..... God protect you!

Re: The Pregnant monster

yep. thats normal
especially those dam vegetables that dont behave!

Try leaning on your shoulders and widely spaced knees at the same time, then rocking hips gently sideways.
(you dont need to use a ball, use the bed, or even fully on the bed with butt way in the air)
And fully, fully relaxing, especially the stomach muscles. Like "zoning out"/"spacing out".

For me, i liked that the weight was in a different place, at least for a short time.

Thanks to remind me.... And really, I can't think of this as being a wonderful time. Give me a crying, hungry and sleepless baby anytime... Pregnancy?
