A friend of mine is currently in the process of a legal proceeding and has only paid CHF 1,000 so far. Apparently this is a base amount paid and thereafter she adds on any additional time spent on your case. She will ask you if you can afford this. If you cannot I'm sure she will help you out with a payment plan or something.
