pumpkin and chestnut diet food as good as my freshly baked trillion calorie chocolate pudding?

I couldn't agree more - that's the stuff we used to make in mountain huts in North Wales if they had an oven, as it never went wrong.

I think there was another thread about this pudding recently.

Anyway, thanks for the reminder. That's what we're going to have this weekend (and stuff the chestnut soup!)

Eeeh well hey there should i not buy you dinner first ?

Notice what i said before regarding Peg A's comment, we should setup a thread called " dear penthouse ".. i already have story to tell

*singing out loud " Rock the boat, don't tip the boat over,Rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby,Rock the boat-t-t-t-t*

I'm not that huge like the guy on the picture, yet i do have a belly and proud of it.

Then again, i was in germany last week..the bellies i saw there made me feel a model 0..i mean wow..

Back in the old days, the size of a guy's belly was equal to his wealth, now that i have no job, at least let me have that

Why should it, if a potbelly can last longer then a skinny bloke , he would also need a bit longer to reload.

Its quality you are after, not quantity

Potbellies have one thing the skinny ones don't have.. we have more cushion for the pushing , oew yeah
And don't forget your girl can ride the wave.

Recipe, please.....I just bought these cute little baking dishes.
This is what I use. Sorry it's not in metric (apart from oven temperature).

Cake:

3 oz self-raising flour
2 tbs cocoa powder
4 oz butter
4 oz demerara sugar
2 eggs (beat a bit)
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
milk

Sauce:

4 oz demerara sugar
2 tbs cocoa powder
1/2 pint boiling water

How:

Cream sugar and butter. Addd egg slowly.
Sift in flour and cocoa and add rest of egg. Add milk if required to makea smooth mixture.
Put in an oven-proof dish.

Mix sauce ingredients together and pour over cake mixture.

Bake in oven for 40 minutes at 160'C.

It's good with cream or ice cream.

(and it's got all the EF favourites: self-raising flour, cocoa powder and brown sugar!)

Re: Men are embarassed by their pot bellies

I still remember the two biggest bellies I saw one summer. they were attached to two guys who were laying on the beach, waiting for Greenpeace to roll them back into the water. In the meantime they were spending their time discussing the figures of all women walking by. "She could definitely lose about 3 kilos"... "Well, she's nice, but look at the cellulite.." "nah, butt too big.."

So I wonder, dear pot-bellied members of EF - can your other half look a bit wobbly too? or does the "if it doesn't bother me, why should anyone else care" only apply to guys and you still chase after the perfect slim and trim girls? honestly now

Nothing better than a woman with some curves.

Thanks, sounds great. If I don't use self raising flour I just add baking powder, right? Now, I don't use cocoa powder, I will try to replace it with some rough amount of cooking plain chocolate, hope that works, too. Don't worry about the measurements, I usually just roughly guess and throw things together..I will cut the baking time by about 1/3 since it will be in those tiny individual baking bowls, can't wait. I think the sauce is a great idea, never thought of it. It needs a tiny bit of brown rum, though.

Yes for the normal flour + baking powder

With regards to the other changes -I'm not sure how it would work if you changed too much though.

It's a weird recipe - It looks like it's going to taste very bland but it turns out incredibly rich gooey and certainly looks just like the one in PHIL MCR's photo.

I'd say chubbier men are also a lot more forgiving to how perfect physically their female partner should be, but I am not sure. I have met some giant bellied men who were quite open about criticising chicks and their figure, but maybe that's just a way of some men relating to eachother? Daydreaming?
