Spent the weekend with the family. Parents in law are praying 5 times per day.
My 5 years old son sees them:
Look mom, grandpa is doing Yoga!!
Close enough,....

Two very important things my daughter said this morning re: new President D. Trump.
1. Would you get arrested if you called Donald Trump, Donald Duck?
2. I want to become American, Mum, so I can be the 46th President of the United Sates.
Learning first to tie her shoe laces might be a good idea.

Don't know if this classes as cute... My mate was driving home with her 9yr old daughter and her sister tonight. Her daughter said "Come on Mum, turn the love songs off. I mean, it's not like you can get a man!" | The following 2 users would like to thank Blueangel for this useful post:

Few nights ago, kids tucked up bed as usual, couple of hours later parents go to bed and engage in the annual five minutes of passion.
At breakfast the 7 year old says "You two were having great fun last night, i even heard mummy screaming, what game were playing?" Pie face daddy quickly replies

Some time last week, I took my daughter to school in the morning with our two dogs. They're kids-friendly, but the youngest one is a bit of a yapper.
A little boy from my daughter's class wanted to pat my doggie, but he was a bit scared of the yapping. I tried to comfort him:
Me: "She's cute but she's loud, isn't she?
The Boy: "Just like my mom!" | The following 7 users would like to thank Mélusine for this useful post:

Conversation about birthday parties:
Mini me: will I get more presents for my birthday party?
Me: no, not from us. Remember, birthday parties are not just about gifts!
Mini me: yes! It's also about the birthday cake!

Out on my bike. Saw a Mum and two small daughters on a country road. Mum and younger daughter on the left verge.
5? year old on the right verge. Scarey. I slowed right down. Lass on the right waved and showed me her bunch of wild flowers.
Little girl 3? on the right turned to Mum and said "luk, roidin' a boik"
I nearly fell off my 'boik' laughing. Haven't heard that dialect for a long time.
