Post office account for online payments/transactions

I searched around the forum but didn't find anything similar of what I am about to ask. I see a lot on ricardo post payments that you do at the post office and they go to post accounts, they contain 8-9 numbers and nothing else. This must be something like paypal done by the post office. Where can I obtain such account (the post office for sure) but how shall I ask for it? What is the name, will I need to have a bank account in a certain bank? What are the fees, where can I pick up and do payments and if it is available to do it online? Thanks in advance

Re: Post office account for online payments/transactions

I think you need to open a private account at Postfinance.
You can find info here: http://www.postfinance.ch/en/priv/pr...chf/offer.html
