I have a Caxtonfx Global Traveller card, which is great as it doesnt charge me for using cash machines outside the UK. However, they point out that the banks operating ATMs may levy their own charges on a withdrawal.

I can't seem to find relevant answers online!

So my question: which ATMs here DON'T charge you when using a foreign card to withdraw CHF? I thought Postbank, but now Im not sure...

The only fees I've had using UK cards here came from the issuer. I've used PostFinance, BCV and point of sale (for purchases not cashback, I'm not sure it exists here).

The only ones that ever charged me a fee are those dodgy looking independent cash machines you sometimes find at airports, but they always tell you they're about to charge an extra fee before letting you proceed.

The regular bank ones here just give you a warning to say that your card issuer may charge a fee, in your case, that shouldn't apply.

I opened an online account with Schwab...They have no ATM fees, domestically or internationally...Been a great asset to carry around

Yep, as has been mentioned, you are likely to be getting a poor exchange rate instead of a fee.

I used to use a particular airport currency exchange service as they boasted no fees. Then I noticed one day that they were giving me a rate of 1.01 euros to the UK pound, when the rate according to www.xe.com was something like 1.16. An expensive lesson learned.
