tax agreement with Spain

hoi zuzammen,

I live in CH since 8 years and got a money prize from a "Fundacion" that support art projects from Spain. They tell me that I need to prove that i live in CH and that there's an international agreement to avoid 24% taxes being charged.

The first part is easy to get at the gemainde, but how can i ask them for the precise info regarding the agreement? I saw it is in place since many years but the info i found is from the Spanish .gov.

What will be the name for the agreement to avoid double taxes in swiss german? Where online can i get the swiss info regarding such treaty?

thanks in adavance for any tip you might share
/f

Maybe your "Fundacion" can tell you? Or the Spanish Embassy in Bern?

Re: tax agreement with Spain

It's called "Doppelbesteuerungsabkommen zwischen der Schweiz und Spanien" or something along these lines. Doppelbesteuerungsabkommen means double tax treaty which is what you're looking for. Try to google it.
