GE Money Bank Loan Confusion

I was checking personal loan interest rates and how they compare to the UK (very similar for anyone who is interested). I went to the GE Money Bank place after seeing all their advertisements all over the place about decisions in 30 minutes etc.

https://www.gemoneybank.ch/bin/en/kr...plication.html

At the applications bit I clicked on one of the buttons and I'm confronted with 4 options.

Are you over 18, and gainfully employed? Yes

Do you live in Switzerland or Lichtenstein, or are you a cross-border commuter? Yup

Do you have a Swiss passport or residence permit (B, C, G)? Damn right I do

Do you have any pending collateral seizures or defaults? ermmmm no

So if I click 'no' to that last option it says I can't be granted a loan. Am I getting my terminology mixed up (I'm just a mad scientist afterall) but are collateral seizures and defaults not bad things which a bank wouldn't want a potential borrower to have?

Re: GE Money Bank Loan Confusion

call 'em up... I'm sure it must be a confusion of terms.

I had to get a GE money bank loan for a little bridging loan a few years ago.
Once I proved my legal standing here and income they were only too happy to throw money at me.

Re: GE Money Bank Loan Confusion

Well I'm not really looking for a loan. I was thinking of refinancing a loan I have in the UK but the payments worked out the same so there is no point.

I just thought that it was strange that you have to have pending collateral seizures or defaults in order to be approved...or I guess it may be a glitch in the matrix :mamoru:
