I'm coming over to CH soon from UK for new job and I would like to start using a Pre Paid Credit Card. They are getting more and more popular. I know you have to be careful how you use them to help avoid all the little charges they have but could someone please recommend a Suisse based card that might be better for me?

Has anyone ever used a Prepaid Credit Card for flight booking?

I know you can get one (Mastercard, iirc) attached to your Post Finance bank account - so you can transfer funds directly to the Mastercard's amount, but only those funds transfered to the card itself can be accessed - not your bank account balance.

Other banks would probably have a similar set-up available.

Try the ZKB (or other kantonal banks depending on where in Switzerland you move to). Never had a problem, free online balance checks and statements. The one time I had to ring them (because I'm an idiot and mis-read something) they were very quick and helpful.
