Hi, new to the forum, and to swiss taxation.

Just recieved my first tax return - we own a leaseback property in Nendaz.
My main questions are:

1. How much information do they need / do I have to give regarding non CH assests / liabilities?

2. Is there an english translation anywhere?

3. Since we only go for 3 / 4 weeks a year, can we claim for travel expenses as "inspection visits"?

4. Any other pointers / tips

You partly own a property here and Martin, you need a tax accountant!

Sorry Martin, but I am a bit surprised you wait for your tax return to do a bit of research on the subject. You indeed need a tax advisor who knows Swiss and Valais taxation. I imagine you took all aspects of taxation in consideration when you purchased said property.

BTW Nendaz has always been our 'family' resort, and have been skiing there for more than 30 years. Have you been for a meal at Mont Rouge yet- excellent.
