Re: Self Employed and withdrawing pension

You can remove money from your 2 eme pilier not from the premier pilier. This will, however, have adverse consequences on your pension, disability cover etc. So you shoud think very carefully before taking any decisions. I am a financial advisor and I deal with all these things so if you want to know more you can contact me via PM. I work mainly in the Vaud, Valais and Fribourg canton but exceptionnally in Geneva

Re: Self Employed and withdrawing pension

GE Money Bank http://www.gemoneybank.ch/en/index.html gives out credits of up to CHF 50'000 pretty easily, so why messing with your pension plan?

Even if your business doesn't work out, you would still be able to cover the paybacks from your salary.

Re: Self Employed and withdrawing pension

yes, I used them to start up my IT consultancy business. I took CHF 30K and returned it within about 2 years. The annual rate is about 12%. A bit steep, but compensated with the ease of getting the money when you need it.
