Hi traders,

I've been trading stocks for some years. I made some and lost some too during theses years. My trades were all limited to the Swiss market. Now I'm thinking to enter Forex. The big question is now if it makes sense at all to trade Forex if you have your capital in a currency like CHF? The pips are not comparable to eurusd (almost 4 times) and it's going up constantly against USD and EUR. Obviousely I'm not a professional trader meaning I would be trading once a week and if the crises go on the way they have been lately I am not sure if that's the right thing to exchange CHF against anything else. I hope I've been able to express my thoughts here. I find trading fascinating and exciting but the recent market makes it hard to decide.

Do you have more information that the market to justify the spreads? If not....try roulette

Hmmm.I was considering the same thing recently.Putting some cash into
Australian Dollars as the interest rate is so much better.Also I saw a prediction by Credit Suisse that the Swiss Franc will weaken over the next 3 months to one year against all the major currencies.
But a while has passed and all I see is the Swiss Franc still strengthening.
I don't need the stress right now and decided to just stay with the
winner for now.
