Difference in Tax payments for B/C permits
My permit B is up for renewal, which means I can gain a C permit.
I was wondering if anyone actually knows if you can pay less taxes with a C permit by cutting corners and doing it yourself or is it worth it?
I've worked out from my current B permit status that the total amount (tax/AHV/and the other stuff) that gets deducted from my wage at the end of the month is around 17-18%.
My work colleague who's Swiss says she pays around 3000.- a year in taxes and stuff. Which is a hell of a lot less than what I pay per year. People have told me that you pay the same as Swiss people once you have the C, so if this is true could I save this much from having a C? A friend of mine also told me that if you hire a Tax expert they can tell you which corners to cut on travel expenses and such.
Has anyone ever worked this out? Is it easier just to stay with a B, less hassle or could I make hefty savings with a C?
Thanks in advance
