| | tax residency certificate
Hello,
do you know from where i can obtain tax residency certificate in Switzerland? I live in Zurich, and i earned some money abroad (online) and i don't want to pay taxes in this country, but i prefer to pay it in Switzerland (i don't even know if it's a matter of preferency, i just should since this is where i live)
But this company that owes me money, needs some kind of proof that i really live in Switzerland. Permit B with my address was not enough. Do you know from where i can get it and how it is called in german?
P.S. after even more googling i found out this word Ansässigkeitsbescheinigung , but it is only related to germany it seems, is it the same in switzerland?

May be this helps you. For the money that I earn from my Homeland (France), I complete this form and send it to the tax office. http://www.impots.gouv.fr/portal/dep...laire_3547.pdf
The tax office attests this form and I resend it to the organization (bank) in France who reimburse the amount. First the tax is paid and with this certificate you get the tax paid reimbursed.

Sorry to dig this out but I plan to go the Zug office soon to ask for the same thing (Certificate of Tax Residency) and it would be so much helpful if I knew the German word for it as my German are too basic and I think I'll struggle to get what I need.
Anyone know how to ask for this? I plan to go here: https://www.zg.ch/international/engl...and-contacts-1
I hope I am not just going without reason if I ask it by email or online.

I think you're looking for a Steuerausweis:
It's an official document that shows your address and most recent taxable income and assets value.
Expect to need to pick it up in person at the Gemeinde, you will need proof of ID. Be prepared to pay some fee (probably in the lower range of 5 to 50CHF).

Shouldn't Wohnsitzbestätigung suffice? I mean, it contains no financial information, which I do assume the OP would not like to share with third parties.

Yes I need the paper to say that I live here and pay my taxes at source and nothing else in there that mentions my salary or assets.
Is that the Wohnsitzbestätigung? I already got a certificate of Residence from my local Gemeinde (and in English) but it does not mention anything about taxes, just that I stay here.

| | Re: tax residency certificate This list is for Kt SG, the last entry seems to be what you're looking for (Bestätigung der unbeschränkten Steuerpflicht, confirmation for unlimited tax liability).
The best thing is probably to describe the situation in a mail, without actually mentioning any particular form name. You're certainly not the first with that need | This user would like to thank Urs Max for this useful post: | |

Does anyone who already got the certificate know how long it takes to get it?
