With the CHF so strong, converting from € to CHF is expensive.

This morning, I was at Migros and some tourists only had Euros on them so they used it to pay for their snacks. Migros gave the rate 1€ = 1.10 CHF. Ok, not spectacular but considering the fx rate has been hovering around 1€ = 1.05 CHF the past 2 weeks, it's not bad so bad.

That's a damn good rate considering interbank is less than 1.05 currently. So you can buy Swiss francs at 1.10 per Euro at Migros and sell them to a bank at 1.05...nice little earner...

I hear there is a vending machine in Basel that gives 1.4
