UBS and big commission for EUR payments.

I've found recently that UBS charge us every month more and more for payments in EUR and other currencies. The commission is 1,75% now!! It is madness!! I can understand special cross-course but additional commission is too much.
Who can advise more reliable and not so greedy bank/in Zurich/ ? With e-banking and join-accounts, which are important for my wife? It will be good if there will be English speaking employees, to be honest they are really good in UBS.
ZKB? Migros bank?
Thanks.

Re: UBS and big commission for EUR payments.

I can recommend ZKB. To my mind they are not the most greedy bank in Switzerland. I did not compare too much with other banks' tariffs but in general I am pleased. Recently I requested from them a detailed paper on their tariffs (payments in euro are on page 8 of attachment).
And yes, the do speak English. Very well.

Re: UBS and big commission for EUR payments.

You can also try Post. I haven't tried EURO payment issue, but the over all charge is surely the lowest.
