| | The Euro project is one of the best and most visionary ones of the last 100 years
There are currently some contingency problems, that will be solved in a definitive and long-term way with some adjustments on the political and financial organization of the Eurozone.
But of course you short-sighted Europhobes cannot understand this. I'll wait for the day when the UK will beg the Eurozone to let them enter...

It's the kind of vision you get after eating too much dodgy 3 week old, half fermented, macrobiotic food. Won't someone think of the macrobes. (sic)

I hate to advise you on your specialist subject.....but I think that effective trolling needs to hook people into a debate and gradually get more extreme, a bit like fishing....catch them and slowly wind it up.
If you try that, rather than starting so extreme.....you may get fewer people saying "Its that kn@b again" and moving on immediately to other threads.
Tone it down a touch and you'll have more fun

And no, the Euro was a bad idea as long as all the countries worked on independent economies, it should have worked as one big economy to become a successful project....just my 2 cents....ohhhh 1 cent only, we're heading to recession |

I mean to say, if I had an obviously-worthless degree in "computer science" from a backwater Italian college and thus ended up as a junior-java-monkey-with-an-msc, I didn't listen to people's advice after I'd sought it, I couldn't hack it in Switzerland or Scotland, and I ended up in Norway (again after asking people's advice and ignoring it), and I couldn't even drown my sorrows because I don't drink, I think I'd be losing my marbles like my wee chum weener is. In fact, I'd probably do the decent thing and put myself out of my misery.
Perhaps what we're witnessing is a cry for help. Attachment 32020

You can groan as much as you want, if it makes you feel better...but I'm serious when I write that sooner or later the (dis)United Kingdom and their worthless currency will beg to enter the Euro. But I would keep them out, they would just cause trouble...
Stupid British colonial attitude..."We'll enter the Euro when the time is right...", the truth is...WE DON'T NEED AND WANT YOU! You don't have anything worth to give to the Eurozone.
Standing together, even in difficult times, is a sign of greater civilization, than isolating ourselves, falsely claiming to be better, and laugh at others (while your boat is sinking...is this what you call "British humor"?). Enjoy your next Quantitative Easing...
I see also from the threads about the measures taken by the Swiss Central Bank today...many don't care about the status of their host country's exports, many are only worried about "me me me"...the holiday in Austria which is now more expensive, the border shopping which is now more expensive, etc...who cares if the exports and tourism were going down the drain? Not my problem...for many the problem is sacking as much and as quickly as possible, not building something sustainable on a long-term.
P.S. By the way...when will you give Northern Ireland back to the rest of Ireland? In case you haven't studied history, or nobody teached you...Northern Ireland was for 1 day part of the Irish Free State, so the entire island has been formally united and independent in the past (6/12/1922).
