Transfer from Post to NA accounts

Hello,

In the course of moving here I incurred a lot of expenses out of my Canadian bank accounts. I would like to be able to pay myself back these amounts (which sucks a little due to the strong Canadian dollar). What is the best way to transfer about 10k back overseas? The amount is fairly large so I don't mind if there is a $50 fee at each end, I just want to have an idea what I can ask for from my post account to make the transfer happen. I'm guessing I could western union the money to myself, I'm also guess that (or a currency conversion) would cost me more than 1%. Any thoughts appreciated (especially on the mechanics, bonus points for the mechanics in simple German so I know what to ask for). TA

(I want to transfer the money back because I want to leave by my own means here and not dip into previous savings, if I don't make the transfer it will be a bit of a hassle to keep track of, so it's mainly for mental reasons I want to move it back not pragmatic ones)

Re: Transfer from Post to NA accounts

There is PostFinance which I have already suggested in a previous thread.
