If they've valued the sari slightly higher, that explains the difference in price.
Heyy , may be ...but isn't there also a rule that gifts till 100 chf can go without tax

A question of similar nature. I ordered some outdoor stuff online from a France store, value was a round 1000 euros not including France VAT (as it was being exported). The strange thing though, when the package came (via UPS) the guy just handed it to me without charging me at all. I was quite sure I had to pay VAT + handling fees but.. evidently not? Am I missing something here? Should I expect a bill in the mail or something?
