Civil partnership change in Swiss Law??? ( Taxation issue as a single )

Hi,
Bit of a long shot...but hope someone can help??
Both my partner ( same sex) with a registered partnership from London, have been living in Switzerland for 3.5 years, both have permit b , and I have paid tax as a couple.
My company have just told me due to new Swiss law, in the canton of Vaud, I am now classed as 'single' for tax reasons?
Anyone know anything about this??? Any help or direction would be welcomed.....

Ask any Swiss married couple: if you are both working you will pay more tax as a couple than two single people.

Yes, then it's best to be taxed as a couple, so hopefully it works out!

Never quite figured this out, I know it happens in the US too, that married couples get taxed more than 2 singles living together...
But I guess coming from Singapore, with its low birth rate, the government throws all sorts of tax rebates at people to get married and have as many kids as possible...

Pass...

A few decades ago in Singapore if you had more than 2 children, you were taxed extremely high for the 3rd plus children, but with the low birth rate, the sensible Singapore Government changed their policies. have been an admirer of Singapore Government since working for Singapore company (NOL) some years back
