Civil partnership change in Swiss Law??? ( Taxation issue as a single )

Hi,
Bit of a long shot...but hope someone can help??
Both my partner ( same sex) with a registered partnership from London, have been living in Switzerland for 3.5 years, both have permit b , and I have paid tax as a couple.
My company have just told me due to new Swiss law, in the canton of Vaud, I am now classed as 'single' for tax reasons?
Anyone know anything about this??? Any help or direction would be welcomed.....
