Loan after 6 months in Switzerland

Hi All,

I am looking to get a loan to purchase a car, not much of a loan say 10-15k, maybe 20k at a push.

i know most institutions dont entertain you for a loan until you are 12 months but does anyone have any experience of getting credit from 6 months on, or know of any places that may offer the facility?

Cheers

Surely your bank would be your first port of call?
They can see your income and expenditure, and should be happy to give you a loan.

Re: Loan after 6 months in Switzerland

I'm also with UBS and I contacted them and they don't do loans. GE money do loans but the interest can be high or if you purchase the car in Switzerland ask about Finance options where the you own the car at the end of it, that is what we ended up doing.

Other banks do do loans but as you say you have to be here longer than a year or 2.

I would try asking my employer for an interest-free ( or low interest ) loan first.
