Re: Income Tax Rates - Cheatsheet

There is no hokuspokus. It's done the way I said, the tax tables are done based on the monthly amounts. Thus, one month you may pay 16 % due to high income that month, next month you pay less if you earn less.

Thanks Tilia,

But after knowing tax calculation well in the UK I would like to know how it's done here so I can calculate it myself as well.

Sorry for not having time to read all the tax related posts.. but I would appreciate if you can send me links the the relevant topics to PM if you wish to help.

I will look around the forum as well.

Re: Income Tax Rates - Cheatsheet

Thanks,

That brings us back to my question from earlier - Is there a table which shows those percentages in relation to the salary ranges so I can see what my deduction would be next month.

Re: Income Tax Rates - Cheatsheet

Sorry, but this really p1sses me of! This is the second time in a short time I get thanked and groaned at by a newbie whom I try to give some advice without spending my whole evening being someones private search engine.

Out of principle, I don't groan people but believe me if I did you would have several now.

Re: Income Tax Rates - Cheatsheet

There is no point to discuss this thanks/groam any further as it has nothing to do with the topic.

As I said before, thank you and I am sure others will find yor posts useful. I really appreciate that you've spent your time to answer my query.

I am sorry for making you mad..

Thanks

Re: Income Tax Rates - Cheatsheet

Old thread, back from the dead!

The links to payroll calculators above no longer work. Does anyone have a link to an on-line paycheck calculator?
