Claiming UK State pension whilst still working in Swiss

Hello
I can claim my UK State pension but have to do it through the SVA in Zurich. The UK DWP said that I can still claim even though still working in Switzerland.
But just recieved a letter from the SVA in Geneva who thinks that I am requesting early retirement and have refused to process my claim for the UK State Pension.
Although this is EU law that I am still entitled, how can I persuade the Swiss authorities that this is allowed and that I can continue to work even though getting a state pension from UK.
Has anyone else successfully made this type of claim and been successful. I wouldlike to know how this can be achieved.
The DWP in the UK know that I am still working but said it did not matter this cannot be blocked from Switzerland.

Well, I claimed after age 65 (via Geneva) when I was still working in Berne, and I received my pension. I submitted my claim via my Gemeinde social welfare office.

By DWP do you mean the Department of Work & pensions in Newcastle? And whom is the SVA?

Do you desparately need the pension? As they can recalculate when you are 64 and you will get a bit more. Don't forget you will pay tax on the pension, and while you are still working is that a good idea?

However you get some money, die before you claim & all is lost....I am pissed off that the UK rules have changed & I can mo longer take my UK personal pension aged 50. I now have to wait 5 more years, I dont see annuity rates rising much or the capital growing. TBH the return would have been better 10 years ago aged 40 when the guilt yeild was far higher than today, capital like the FTSE is lower as well.
