Transportation Taxes For Canadian Residents

Hi guys,
Just a curiosity, but is it possible for Canadian citizens who are in Switzerland to claim taxes on things like public transportation expenses? For example, somebody who buys monthly passes, would he/she be able to file that as a claim for tax return back in Canada?

If anyone knows, that would be a great help. I've tried searching on the Revenue website for the Govt of Canada and the only thing they talk about is income and studying abroad...

...."Following ancillary costs cannot be claimed
Travel costs
Parking costs"

it looks like the things that can be claimed are mandatory costs associated with the university and classes.
