Income Tax

Hi, I'm moving to Switzerland to look for work. I was self employed in Ireland and will be looking for work in Zurich as an employee. What tax information would I need to bring with me? Would an employer look for a statement that your tax affairs in a previous country are in order?

No, they wouldn't be interested in your tax situation.

Re: Income Tax

The authorities will probably want to know you can support yourself while you look for a job so bank statements might be worth bringing with you.

Thats if you want a B permit due to self sufficiency, for self employed B permit it's not required.

Yes, but he's not coming as self employed, he's coming to look for a job with a company, i.e. salaried employee, so they might want to know he can support himself while he's job hunting.

It's not a requirement however an L permit will be issued, once the OP gets a job it will change to a B assuming (original) EU passport.
