PostFinance Debit Card in SET PLUS

Dear all,
I am looking for a Swiss account in PostFinance.
Actually, there are two different possibilities: the "Set Online" or the "Set Plus".

I am going to leave in UK most of the time, so, I will need to withdraw cash and purchase in UK.

Does anybody have the same problem?

The set plus seems to be more useful when a withdrawal is needed...I mean, PostFinance does not charge us with 5 CHF (in the Set Online).

Are there are commission/taxes during the withdrawal? The change fom CHF to £ is recognized as a taxation?

Thanks,
kevin

Re: PostFinance Debit Card in SET PLUS

I just opened a set plus because I will need to withdraw in the Euro Zone, and that is free of charge. I didn't ask for UK though. Just call the PostFinance call centre, they are very quick and helpful!

Re: PostFinance Debit Card in SET PLUS

The withdrawals are worldwide free with both the EUR and CHF cards.
Naturally exchange rates and fees still apply.
One benefit is that it costs 2 CHF to send cash online when not in EUR in the EEA. But receiving in GBP\USD is free with plus if in the same currency.

For ex, my UK bank charges me £10 to send Gbp to my PoFi GBP account, PoFI only 2 CHF in the other direction.
