Claiming German VAT back on different day?

If I buy my winter tires today, but go across the boarder from Germany back to Switzerland tomorrow is that OK to get the green form stamped on a different day?

Thanks

Re: Claiming German VAT back on different day?

Yes, you have three months to export goods and collect the stamp from the German customs.

EDIT:
Actually, having just read the green form you have three full calendar months. When you buy on July 2nd you can export the goods until end of October. See bullet 2 on the 'Hinweise' on the back of the green form.

Maybe you are happy owner of tyres now, but are you sure they are cheaper in Germany even after the tax reclaim.

See Who buys from reifendirekt?

Cheers mate. Yes I calculated with Swiss fitting I was saving 10 chuffs altogether . I also got the windows tinted so it was all done at same time.
