Cleaning Lady - Salary and Tax calculation

Hi all, hope anyone can help me on this issue!
We are about to hire a new cleaning lady for the first time and we are trying to calculate the deductions that we should apply.

- Shall I deduct the employee share of the AVH (6.05%)?
- Shall I deduct the withholding tax (5%)?
- Shall I add the extra 8.33% hours for vacation?

I am lost! is there any calculation tool in the SVA website I can use?

Thanks!

You add the holiday pay if it's a short term job without taking any holidays, if she can take 4 weeks paid holidays & free days you don't add it.

If you're confused and would like the convenience, check out quitt.ch.
I use them and am happy with them; the little extra payment is fine with me, I prefer my peace of mind (I'm not associated with the company).

Re: Cleaning Lady - Salary and Tax calculation

Here is the form that I used:

http://www.seco.admin.ch/keine-schwa...496/index.html

Take the Lohnabrechnung one, either for calculations on an hourly basis ("Stundenlohn") or for monthly ("Monatslohn")

If you your cleaner gets about CHF 29 per hour, the total that you have to pay including taxes comes to about CHF 35.
