So I am wondering if someone can help me understand exactly how much the GA 2nd class card will really cost me per year, when factoring in the tax deductions. The card costs 3550chf per year as I see. Since i'll be traveling now more to a new office we have been moved to, how much does this GA then really cost me? Lets assume an income of around 120k..

Is this the sort of discount as I get when paying into my 3a piller? So the tax I pay on 3550chf I can get back then? Then thats not a huge savings frankly..

Any clarity would be helpful..

The cost of the ga is deducted from your taxable income amount, ssme as the 3rd pillar. So tge tax savings are negligable.

However your lovely tax man is planning to stop this allowance for " environmental reasons" to encourage people to work in their area.
