Re: Claim the 3rd pillar taxes back

You enter these in section 13.1 of your main tax form http://www.steuern.sg.ch/home/common...02013%20A4.pdf

Re: Claim the 3rd pillar taxes back

Thanks.

I have a B permit, so i don't need to do a full declaration.

I was leaving in Solothurn before and the form to claim the taxes from the 3rd pillar was much simpler....this is by far longer.

Re: Claim the 3rd pillar taxes back

ok. From what I can see, you need to order form 51.2.13 from http://www.steuern.sg.ch/home/common...estellung.html

51.2.13 - Formular 2013 für die nachträgliche Geltendmachung von zusätzlichen Abzügen - Antrag um Anpassung der Quellensteuer / Tarifkorrektur

Re: Claim the 3rd pillar taxes back

Just a final question. I was living in Solothurn until June and since July I am in St Gallen. Do I need to do both forms? For both cantons?

Thanks

Normally, the relevant Tax Authority is the one where you were resident on 31st of December. In your case, your 2013 Tax affairs should be handled by St. Gallen.

Your case is not completely straightforward - you want your Tax at Source (Quellensteuer) adjusted to take account of a 3. Pillar payment (3. Säule) so I suggest you contact the tax authorities and ask . . .
