Post Finance e-finance help

So i have had my Post-Finance bank account for about 4 months now and have been in a constant struggle with them on how to get my e-finance to work. What i need is simple really, to log into my online bank account and see a record of my transactions, be able to pay bills, transfer money etc. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as banks go, however, for as long as i have had my account, when i log in and click on the e-finance tab there are no records of transactions; nothing. I can't do transfers, i can't pay bills, in fact i can't do anything with the online account.

I have spoken to my Post-finance agent, and he has repeatedly told me that i will have access next time i log into my account. And of course this has not happened regardless of how many times i have logged in. Unfortunately, his English is so-so and my Italian is spotty at best so maybe there are things he could be telling me to fix this but does not know how to say so in English.

I have also used the online application for e-finance requesting the service to be added to my account and have had no response other than confirmation emails to say my request has been noted. I'm tired of guessing what's happening in my bank account and waiting for the paper statement, which has somehow only been sent to me once in the last 4 months. So now i'm turning to EF, please, i beg of you please, tell me what i'm doing wrong and how i can have an actual working online account.

Well I can't quite see how anyone here would be able to help. There's clearly a problem at their end, unless perhaps you're using a funny browser that's not properly supported. I've used IE and FireFox, certainly, for many years with no such problems.

Maybe you are clicking on e-fianance and not e-banking?
I have a post finance account and accidentally tried to go into the wrong `area` after logging in.

no, it's called "Login E-Finance"

My recommendation would be to use a different browser or use Incognito mode.

What appears on the screen - your list of accounts or just something blank and white? I had this in Chrome some time back when they changed something so now bank in Incognito mode - certainly one of my Extensions is causing an issue and I don't care to find out which one.

Re: Post Finance e-finance help

I've only ever contacted PF by messages online where the English has been perfect and response very quick. You could try the online contact approach and give them some screenshots of what you see in your browser. There is an attachment feature with the online support. I've never heard of someone having so much trouble with E-Finance so something is obviously not right and it sounds like PF may not be aware of a problem yet and are assuming it's you at fault.

"Your postfinance agent"?

Call the number on the site, they have a ton of agents and a dedicated e-finance help number... somehow I doubt you have fully explored this.

There is obviously nothing we can do to help you, you need to go through Postfinance.

Yup, you're absolutely correct, my apologies. I was getting confused with "E-banking", "E-finance" and "E-trading"; the first one doesn't exist on the PF site.

I've tried it on Chrome and Firefox with the same result, a blank page where transaction records should be. It's not like the whole window is blank but just that section so i assumed maybe the whole function is somehow not activated in my account. I'll try other browsers and see

Thank you for the online contact approach. I've called and gone to the branch in person but silly me had not used their online contact. I was hoping someone here has had a similar problem and had a quick fix but maybe if i send PF what i see when i log in, something may come up. I'll make screenshots right now

It works for me in Chrome. Deactivate any addons you may have running.

Re: Post Finance e-finance help

OK regular Postfinance account

you have gone through the procedure from here:

https://e-finance.postfinance.ch/sec...t=0&p_spr_cd=4

& used your little yellow machine, then you should be on the
e-finance overview page, you should be able to see your balance

1) click on Assets & Payments to be able to make a payment
2) click on 'Transactions' and enter the start and end date to see your transactions for that period

if you cannot do this, then there is something wrong!

Thanks Moggy, everything is exactly as you say up until i get to the e-finance overview tab. The just is nothing to view hahaha. I have no options to Assets & Payments or Transactions, there is just a blank slate. Now that you all have told me that you have never had anyone with this problem and that it works on all your browsers, i am now sure it is a PF thing with my account. So i have taken screen shots and sent them to PF asking for a fix. I'll be back to update on what they say.

I have been using Chrome, however i have tried it on FF and just today on IE to no avail. Problem persist across browsers. I also deactivated my add-ons and cleaned my cache to try it again and still i get nothing when i get to the e-finance tab. I also have the world's shortest menu on the side bar, it just has options to edit my contact details, view services and one other thing that i can't recall just now. So i'll wait to see what PF responds to my screenshots. Thank you!
